A lot has happened since the last time I posted on here. I moved to Ballard, got the job at Apple, and really started to become what I have been calling "grown up." It's odd to think about, considering I have been independent for almost 6 years, but for the first time in my life I don't have the crutch of school anymore. I am now having to make my own money (no more student loans) and pay bills/rent. Woo! It's hard, but I am going to survive.
Even through the struggle, I am happy. I am excited. I am nervous. I am scared. But I am really, truly happy here. My roommates are amazing and Ballard is such a cool place. Life is good, and aside from struggling with money, I know it's going to be okay.
I had some hard new yesterday, and I let it hit me way too hard. I really put my expectations too high, and allowed myself to get hurt. But once I talked it out, and considered my options, I came out feeling much better. I have a long road ahead of me but I can't wait to see what is coming my way.
